Complete Form 1040 including all schedules and W-2s
Utility bill, lease agreement, mortgage statement, or Texas driver's license
U.S. passport, birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or immigration documents
Official birth certificate or adoption decree
Most recent IEP or 504 plan from your child's school, including evaluation reports
Check your eligibility, gather required documents, and prepare your application materials.
TEFA application portal opens. Submit your application as soon as you're ready.
Final day to submit your TEFA application. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
Applications reviewed in priority band order. Families notified of approval status and next steps.
